Project Overview
uKeep turns the business cards people collect into contacts they can actually use. Point the camera at a card and the app reads the name, job title, company, phone numbers, email, website and address. Check the details, add a note about the meeting while it's fresh, and the card joins a collection synced to your account, available on any phone.
The Challenge
Business cards get lost, and even when they're kept, people quickly forget who the person was and why they mattered. Most scanners only read the card: the context of the meeting disappears, and the contact never reaches the phone's address book, where it's actually needed.
Our Solution
A short flow designed for the moment someone hands you their card: scan, check, add a note, save. Cards are read by an AI service on the server, and the photo isn't kept. Any card can then be added to the phone's contacts in one tap, found again with search, sorted into categories, and given its own color. It all sits on one consistent brand identity, from the app to the website: warm paper, black ink and a touch of coral.
